Following our July theme of liberation, Rev. Jobe offers freedom from the one thing we thought we might set free, the self itself. Building on some of his former talks, he asks us to look at the issue of a separate self as maybe the ultimate threat to liberation.
Rev. Jobe reflects on congregational life, with lots of positives for UULC, while still asking a tough question or two. He dreamed some of this sermon, so don't be surprised if it feels a little different.
