Committees

Almost everything we do as a congregation requires volunteer participation. Listed are those committees and teams that are the foundation of everything we do.

Building and Grounds - Responsible for the regular maintenance of our facilities and the ongoing development and beautification of the property. Volunteers are always needed for regular, periodic, and occasional tasks.

Care Committee - Provides support and assistance to members of the congregation with specific needs. If you know a member in need of a ride, a visit or special care, or if you are in need of some special attention, the Care Committee is available.

Children's Religious Education (RE) - Our growing and active Children's RE program is led by our Director of Religious Education, Ann Harrison, and the RE Committee. Capable volunteers are invited to bring their experience, talents and ideas to help shape the next generation of Unitarian Universalists.

Fundraising Committee - Fun and creative fundraising is the hallmark of this committee. Fresh faces and ideas are always welcome.

Hospitality - Prepare coffee and snacks for the congregation to enjoy following the Sunday service.

Membership Committee - Works to spread the good news about Unitarian Universalism, helps guests feel welcome, and integrates new members into our community. While it could be argues that we are all equally charged with this task, this committee assures these things are being done.

Program Committee - Many of our existing programs occasionally require support. We are always looking for new groups, programs and others interested in sharing their interests and gifts with the congregation in new and creative ways.

Social Justice - Identifies, coordinates and provides service, advocacy, and educational opportunities for individual and unified action by the committee and/or the congregation at large.

Worship Committee - Members of this committee are always lookig for new ideas and guest speakers to keep our Sunday services fresh and exciting.
