Welcome!

We are so glad you are here! We hope you will be our guest on Sunday!

Our Congregation

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Lowcountry (UUCL) has been serving the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton area since 1977. Our congregation is one of more than one thousand congregation worldwide in a liberal religious tradition grounded in the Unity of all existence and the Universal power of Love to nurture souls and society.

We strive to be an open and inclusive community welcoming all people of good will regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical abilities and religious background. We celebrate religious diversity and strive for social justice. We encourage each person to find her or his own answers to the great religious questions of life, in a community of open hearts and inquiring minds.

Visitors are welcome to attend all congregational activities. If you want to learn more about Unitarian Universalism and our congregation, you are encouraged to attend one of our regularly scheduled orientations. Our minister is also available to answer your questions, please feel free to give him a call or stop by during his posted office hours.
