The congregation -- which had been known as the Unitarian Fellowship of Hilton Head Island -- has moved to its new building in Bluffton and changed its name to reflect the hope to serve the larger, regional community. Ours is an active congregation of 110+ members. We belong to the Unitarian Universalist Association, a network of about 1,000 churches in America and Canada, and others worldwide.
A word about what we believe. Unitarian Universalism is a religion that keeps an open mind to the religious questions people have struggled with in all times and places. We believe that personal experience, conscience and reason should be the final authorities in religion, and that in the end religious authority lies not in a book or person or institution, but in ourselves.  We have no "creed," but we do embrace the 7 UU Principles (click to read).
Our program for children and youth is called religious education. Like Unitarian Universalism itself, it stresses justice, equity, and compassion in all our human relations, and also a determination to improve the conditions of those around us. Childrens' RE classes are concurrent with the 10:00 am  Sunday services, and the Youth Group meets directly after services. Please do explore our website and plan to visit soon!
