In September, Jews observe Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. Atonement is not a word we use very often, but we do talk about and sometimes try to practice apologizing. What exactly is an apology, and how do we apologize well; and when done well, what does an apology accomplish?
We UU's tend to idolize dreamers, those who set out a future vision. We often forget those who take dreams and make them real. It's often anonymous, and dirty work to take an attractive idea and make it a functional reality . Sometimes it's full of unwelcome compromise. We'll explore those who make possibilities possible.
It is from this place of faith that all things are possible. And that Faith has a first cousin... hope.
