Bill Newby, a good friend of UUCL and recently-lapsed-South Carolinian, moved back to Cleveland, Ohio, April 2020, just in time for a year of social distancing.
Now, in the middle of National Poetry Month, he will join us to reflect on the power of poetry to keep us connected. Bill’s poems have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, and selections from his two collections, Sea Chests or a Carry-On and Passing Through, can be previewed at www.billnewby.net.
