Sunday December 22, 2019 "Step off the Holiday Express Train" Rev. Dick Hood *Video and Audio*12/22/2019 To some degree we are all unwittingly on a holiday express train. Too much to do, too much to think of, not enough time. And the train keeps rolling along.
On December 22nd, we'll feature a service of brief birth stories, music by the 7 Principles, selections by John Sheppard, some silence, a brief meditation, and familiar carols. Our usual sermon discussion will have a different focus, the sharing with each other of a favorite holiday memory. So take a moment for yourself; Step off the Holiday Express Train, if only for a an hour or so. ********** On December 22nd we collected winter coats and all cash collected in the basket at the service will be donated to the Sandalwood Food Pantry to help them fill needed items for the Holidays. Please be generous. Also, the 22nd will be Holiday Sunday and we encouraged our congregation members to wear Holiday Sweaters, Shirts, Ties or Socks. Ugly Sweaters were welcome! This service was live streamed on our Facebook page. Follow the link below to view the service: https://www.facebook.com/uulowcountry/videos/2455113391414536/
