In Judaism, we host our High Holiday services every year. It is at this time of the year for us that we ask God to forgive our sins. It is a beautiful way to connect with our family, our community and God. However, the issue we face as human beings is the same issue we’ve all faced as human beings. Is one time a year enough form me to ask for forgiveness. If you know me at all, the answer is a resounding “Not Even Close.” If we want to renew our connections, then we must participate in a continual process instead of cramming for the exam the night before. The lesson we must learn as people of faith is how do we renew our faith on a continual basis.
