“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” - Mother Teresa
Each one of us can, and probably do make ripples with the work we do in our Congregation, our circles of friends and in our community. We should remember the significance of these ripples, and then make more ripples. As long as we are casting stones in the water, we are making a difference.

Widening The Circle
A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. — Albert Einstein -- When we connect with our True Self we bring the Pulse of Creation through the veil of illusion, and allow compassion to influence human mass consciousness. “It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.” - Charles Darwin
We will survive as a Congregation because we are highly adaptable. As individuals we listen and learn from the science. We take steps to protect ourselves, our friends and family. The way we live has changed in many ways during the past two years. Yet, we as a Congregation remain strong because we as individuals, and as a Congregation adapt to our changing world. -- Laura McFadden |
