“Never take a person’s dignity: it is worth everything to them, and nothing to you.” - Frank Barron, psychologist (1922-2002)
Sunday, Debbie Anderson spoke to us about honoring people with Alzheimers or dementia. It is so important that we treat all people with the same dignity that we wish for ourselves, no matter what stage in life they are in. It costs us nothing to be kind to all people, and the benefits are so great for each of us. Laura McFadden

One of my oldest and dearest friends had Alzheimers. Another's husband did. Both were treated lovingly by their families. A cool thing that I observed is that our Bluffton library has a sign that says that it is an Allzheimers friendly site. Memory Matters published a gorgeous book.
