As we close out Pride Month, this sermon honors the rainbow as a powerful expression of the freedom to live and love authentically. Taking its title from a quote in Zora Neale Hurston’s autobiography, this message invites us to reflect on how rainbows call us to embrace diversity, offer compassion, and build a more inclusive world. If you’ve got something rainbow-colored—whether it’s a tie, a dress, or your favorite pair of socks—consider this your invitation to wear it. Let’s wrap ourselves in rainbows, inside and out.
