

Justice is a deeply held and often-named shared value of Unitarian Universalism, but the word "justice" can mean many things. What does it mean for us, and how do we bring more of it into a world riddled with injustice?"
The Rev. Nathan Woodliff-Stanley (he/him), Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Beaufort, SC (UUFB), also serves statewide part-time as Executive Director of the South Carolina Unitarian Universalist Justice Alliance (SCUUJA). Rev. Nathan has a decade of service in nonprofit organization management in Mississippi, and he worked for almost two decades in Colorado in the UU Social Justice Ministry and then as Executive Director of the ACLU of Colorado. He is the husband of the Right Reverend Ruth Woodliff-Stanley, who is the first woman elected Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina, leading to their move to Charleston in 2021.
